Indigenous Wisdom & Shamanism

“Within, Between & Beyond Worlds”

October 5 & 6, 2018

(type in shamanism where it says “Search Events”)

The conference will be a combination of presentations, dialogues, storytelling and ceremonies. As in the past, we have invited several shamans and shamanic practitioners who will conduct ceremony. We plan to focus on dialogues between traditions and practitioners, exploring such questions as:

  • What does it mean to be a practitioner in this day and age?
  • What about the now common practitioner who is between ancestries and traditions (hybridity)?
  • How do we practice with integrity in our work, whether in healing, teaching, or activism?
  • How can this work have a positive impact on the world today?

Saturday, Oct 6 (9am – 9pm)

Our event is co-sponsored by the HUB at Sonoma State University (located 45 miles north of San Francisco). The HUB is the University’s integral center for diversity, vitality and creativity.
